METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING CALLER OF VOICE NETWORK USING DATA NETWORK

The present invention relates to a caller authenticating method of a voice network using a data communications network. The caller authenticating method of the present invention is performed through a terminal which is multi-connectable to a telephone network via an exchanger and a data communications network which is not through the exchanger. The caller authenticating method comprises the following steps: receiving a verification key value for authenticating a caller requesting call connection via the data communications network; confirming an authentication key value detected from a call connection signal received from a caller device by using the telephone network, or confirming an authentication key value generated by applying information detected from the call connection signal to a designated key generation rule; authenticating the effectiveness of the authenticating key value by using the verification key value; and processing caller authentication data corresponding to an authentication result to be outputted to the caller when the effectiveness of the authentication key value is authenticated.
