The present invention relates to a foreign material removal device installed in a waterway of a wastewater, water, and sewage treatment facility or in a waterway of a rainwater drainage pump station and, more specifically, to a foreign material removal device comprising: a screen installed in a waterway; a pair of frames fixated in both sides of the screen along the screen; and a dust removal part to raise foreign materials caught in the screen while reciprocating along the frames. The dust removal part comprises: multiple rakes inserted into the screen to raise the foreign materials; a rake bar to which multiple rakes are connected and which is supported on the frames to be moved up and down; and a driving unit connected to the rake bar to provide driving force for lifting and formed of a reciprocating cylinder. Through a simple configuration of the device, the present invention reduces production costs, facilitates installation and operation, and reduces operating expenses with reduced malfunctions. Also, the present invention smoothly raises and discharges the foreign materials through the simple configuration of the device as the rakes are supported on the frames to be stably moved up and are rotated on the top and the bottom of the screen without an additional device. |
