<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a yaw rate gain capable of easily obtaining an evaluation result. <P>SOLUTION: The evaluation method includes a travel step in which a test vehicle 1 wearing a trial tire travels in the shape of a circle at a constant travel speed, a steering angle fixing step in which a driver fixes the position of a steering wheel of the test vehicle 1 in the travel step, and a function evaluation step for evaluating a yaw rate gain of the test vehicle 1 from the fixed steering angle. The constant travel speed is in the range of 10 to 30 km/h, and the radius of the circular travel is in the range of 10 to 30 m.
