<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor installation position determination method for sensor network that determines an installation position of a sensor so as to minimize installation costs while satisfying a cover rate of a sensor requested for each importance of a place of attention associated with the installation position of the sensor. <P>SOLUTION: In the sensor installation position determination method for sensor network, an object area of monitoring through a sensor network, a sensor installation candidate place A, the sensor installation cost for each sensor installation candidate place A, a desired place B of attention to be monitored by the sensor, importance of the place B of attention, and a cover rate found for each importance of the place B of attention are input as information, and the sensor installation position is determined so that the cover rate found for each importance of the place B of attention is satisfied and the total costs for the sensor installation are reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
