The present specification relates to a vacuum cleaner. According to one aspect of the present invention, the vacuum cleaner comprises: a cleaner main body having a suction motor for generating a suction force; a suction unit communicating with the cleaner main body to suction air and dusts; a connection unit for connecting the suction unit with the cleaner main body; a battery provided in the cleaner main body and supplying a power to the suction motor; a charger connected to be separated to the cleaner main body and charging the battery; and a boost convertor boosting an output voltage of the battery. The direct current voltage boosted by the boost convertor is provided to the suction motor. |
