PURPOSE:To obtain relaxation or reduction of the noise offensive to the ear caused by a heater element oscillating and striking against a quartz pipe due to the vibration generated by the heater element itself by the provision of an inclined quartz pipe unit. CONSTITUTION:A heater element 1 consisting of a closely wound Fe-Cr-Al electric heating wire with an insulating coating on the surface thereof is housed in a quartz pipe 2 to thereby form a quartz pipe units 4. The quartz pipe unit 4 is located obliquely relative to the vertical direction. In brief, when a horizontal component force is applied to the longitudinally extending heater element 1, a force urging the heater element 1 against the inner wall of the quartz pipe 2 is generated thereby relaxing or reducing the noise offensive to the ear caused by the heater element oscillating and striking against the quartz pipe 2 due to the vibration generated by the heater element itself. |
