<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce concentration irregularity generated in a band where recording is completed by a plurality of number of times of scanning when a mask having an uneven recording ratio is used, in an inkjet recording device. <P>SOLUTION: Which of a color separation table A and a color separation table B is used is determined in accordance with the location of a nozzle used for recording input image data. First, which of the upper half and the lower half of each of nozzle groups 201a-201d is used is determined in accordance with a pixel position of the input image data. That is to say, the lower half of each nozzle group corresponds to a lower pattern in each region of a mask, and the upper half thereof corresponds to an upper pattern in each region of the mask. When the pixel position of the input image data is determined to use the lower half of each nozzle group, the color separation table A is set to be used.
