A method for determining physical conditions includes the following steps: extracting a parameter representing phonetic characteristics from a voice of a user; determining a phonetic phenotype by using the extracted parameter value and a voice expression function corresponding to the parameter; and determining a physical condition corresponding to the voice based on the determined phonetic phenotype.
