摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module in which an optical transmission path can be mounted without requiring much space, and an optical signal has a wide wavelength band and low losses, and which, for even vibration or mechanical shock, can operate without adversely affecting the optical transmission characteristics of the optical transmission path and light-emitting/receiving optical circuit boards.SOLUTION: Provided is an optical module having: a mirror-fitted optical waveguide 3 having a clad layer 302, a core pattern 301, and two optical path conversion mirrors 303A, 303B provided on the optical axis, and having flexibility; an optical transmission path 1 fitted with a connector 2; and a light-receiving/emitting circuit board 401 having a light-receiving or light-emitting part 5 that receives light or emits light in substantially the normal direction relative to a circuit board face 401. The optical transmission path 1 and the core pattern 301 are optically connected at approximately 90° via the optical path conversion mirror 303A, the core pattern and the light-receiving or light-emitting direction of the light-receiving or light-emitting part are optically connected at approximately 90° via the optical path conversion mirror 303B, and the optical transmission path 1 and the circuit board face 401 are arranged in approximately parallel.
