摘要 本发明是下述式(1)所表示的化合物。藉由将该化合物用作电子输送材料及/或电子注入材料,可获得平衡良好地达成驱动电压降低、高效率化、长寿命化等有机EL元件所要求的特性改善的有机EL元件。;Ar是源自碳数为6~40的芳香族烃或碳数为2~40的芳香族杂环的m价基;m是1~4的整数;L是选自单键或下述式(L-1)及式(L-2)所表示的2价基的群组的1种,;X 1 ~X 6 及X 7 ~X 14 独立为=CR 1 -或=N-,至少2个是=CR 1 -,2个=CR 1 -中的R 1 是结合键,除此以外的=CR 1 -中的R 1 是氢;而且,式(1)中的各个环及烷基的至少1个氢亦可经氘取代。;Ar is an m-valent group deriving from an aromatic hydrocarbon having 6 to 40 carbons or an aromatic heterocycle having 2 to 40 carbons; m is an integer of 1 to 4; L is a single bond, or one selected from a group of divalent groups represented by the following formulae (L-1) and (L-2). ;X 1 to X 6 and X 7 to X 14 are independently =CR 1 - or =N-, wherein at least two of X 1 to X 6 and X 7 to X 14 are =CR 1 -, R 1 in two =CR 1 - is a bond and R 1 in the other =CR 1 - is hydrogen. In addition, at least one hydrogen in the rings and alkyl in the formula (1) may be substituted by deuterium.
