PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-vibration rotary compressor.SOLUTION: A rotary compressor 100 comprises: a closed container 5 that houses a compression part 11, a motor 14, and a rotating shaft 10 for transmitting a driving force of the motor 14 to the compression part 11; a vibration-proof 1 that supports the closed container 5; and a suction pipe 3 and a discharge pipe 2 connected to the closed container 5. The rotating shaft 10 is longitudinally installed along a vertical direction. The rotary compressor 100 also comprises a vibration reduction device 9 including a weight 7 and an elastic member 8 having one end connected to the weight 7 and the other end directly or indirectly connected to the closed container 5. The vibration reduction device 9 is provided at a position higher than the barycenter of the rotary compressor 100. |
