PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a passenger conveyor capable of preventing a user from entering the passenger conveyor from the exit of the passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A safety device of a passenger conveyor comprises a wind blower which is provided on the outside of an exposed step at the side of an exit of the passenger conveyor, and generates a wind flowing in an operation direction of the passenger conveyor. According to this configuration, the wind blower generates the wind flowing in the operation direction of the passenger conveyor. The wind hits a user who is about to enter the passenger conveyor from the exit of the passenger conveyor. Thus, it is possible to make the user recognize the operation direction of the passenger conveyor. As a result, the user can be prevented from entering the passenger conveyor from the exit of the passenger conveyor. |
