PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detector capable of improving accuracy for detecting the end position of a moving body regardless of difference in a kind, a change in a position and a posture, and so on with a picked-up image obtained by imaging for use being an assumption.SOLUTION: Moving body end recognition means (62) sets first search ranges (150 to 153) for searching end contours (166, 176) at a position whose distance in a horizontal direction is equal to or less than a threshold (Dh2) and in an upper vertical direction with the position of tire contours (138, 140) being a standard, searches existence of at least part (156) of the end contour (166) in the first search ranges (150 to 153), and recognizes the end contour (166). |
