PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag breaking apparatus and a bag breaking method capable of breaking a bag with high probability even if a bag breaking object is hardly broken by a conventional bag breaking apparatus.SOLUTION: A bag breaking apparatus comprises: a first belt conveyor 21 moving toward a flow direction being a first direction; a second belt conveyor 22 being disposed above the first belt conveyor 21 and having a portion moving toward the first direction facing the first belt conveyor 21; cutters 25 and 26 being disposed at belt facing portions facing the first belt conveyor 21 and the second belt conveyor 22; and an oscillation holding portion holding the second belt conveyor 22 to be oscillated. |
