PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt for an image forming apparatus, including at least the following three layers: a base material layer, an elastic layer, and a surface layer, configured to ensure excellent adhesion between the elastic layer and the surface layer as well as followability to irregularity of a recording medium.SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer belt for an image forming apparatus includes at least the following three layers: a base material layer, an elastic layer, and a surface layer. The elastic layer is formed of rubber elastic resin. The surface layer is formed of urethane rubber and hydrophobic filler, so that water contact angle is equal to or larger than 90°, thereby improving both adhesion between the elastic layer and the surface layer and followability to irregularity of a recording medium. |
