PURPOSE:To serve the purpose for prevention or decision of vaccine effect in making the measurement in any medical facilities safely and quickly possible, by using a virus lost the vital power of an infectious property by a virus inactivating agent as an antigen and measuring a virus neutralization antibody in blood serum to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:A virus inactivating agent such as beta-propiolactone, KIO4, acridine etc. or a virus lost the vital power of an infectious property by ultraviolet rays, is used for an antigen. For example, a herpes simple virus is inactivated and is inoculated said virus into a 3T3 cell of a mouse and then, a floating liquid of the cell is made after cultivating for several housrs. On the one hand, inactivated virus mixed and reacted with an equvalent immune serum or diluted system of a serum of a patient, is inoculated into the 3T3 cell and the floating liquid of the cell is made after cultivating for several hours. Inactivated virus inoculated cell floating liquid conheres the cell by 10- 30mug/ml concanavaline A, but the 3T3 cell floating liquid inoculated the inactive virus which is mixed with the immune serum or the serum of the patient, not coheres. The cell inoculated the inactive virus which is reacted with the serum of a normal man, coheres. Hereby, safe measurement is performed because of the active virus is not used. |
