PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic electroluminescent display device capable of preventing an angle of field from being reduced.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent display device 1 includes: a TFT substrate 10 on which a plurality of pixels P are arranged in a matrix; a pixel electrode 32 formed on the TFT substrate; a pixel separation film 14 provided on the pixel electrode so as to separate the neighboring pixels from each other and to expose a part of the pixel electrode; a light-emitting layer 33 covering the exposed pixel electrode; a counter electrode 34 covering the light-emitting layer and the pixel separation film; an encapsulating insulation film 40 covering a recessed region that is a region corresponding to the exposed pixel electrode and a projected region that is a region on the pixel separation film, on the counter electrode; and colored films R, G and B which are formed so as to embed the recessed region of the encapsulating insulation film.
