PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more correctly detect an improper installation of air-fuel ratio sensors which are arranged on the upstream and downstream sides of a catalyst in an engine control device.SOLUTION: A control device (36) comprises control means (50), upstream state determination means (51), downstream state determination means (52), upstream inversion time measurement means (53), and downstream inversion time measurement means (54). When a time measured by the upstream inversion time measurement means (53) is equal to or greater than a time measured by the downstream inversion time measurement means (54), the control means (50) determines that a plurality of air-fuel ratio sensors (43 and 44) have been improperly installed. |
