PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the simultaneous read-out of a plurality of texels of a plurality of textures while enabling the reuse of texture data read from an external memory.SOLUTION: A cache device is provided, which includes a cache memory having a plurality of physical memories to read data from an external memory in a block unit with a plurality of texels arranged in a matrix shape and to store adjacent blocks in different physical memories, and a cache controller having a data selection circuit provided in each physical memory to read and output corresponding data by a data selection circuit corresponding to any physical memory if a block including a texel shown by an address is stored in the physical memory when a plurality of addresses are simultaneously inputted, and to read and output data by the data selection circuit corresponding to any physical memory after reading the block from the external memory and to store the block in the physical memory if not stored. |
