PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device for a rescue requirement capable of improving a survival probability of a sufferer by maintaining a survival will of the sufferer by surely receiving mail as reply mail to the requirement of rescue and outputting contents of received rescue information mail as a voice message.SOLUTION: A transmission section 108 transmits rescue requirement mail to which a rescue requirement file representing the requirement of rescue is attached, and a receiving section 109 receives reply mail to which rescue information file representing information about the required rescue and including an identifier is attached, as rescue information mail. On the basis of the rescue information file attached to the rescue information mail and file correspondence information 154 making the rescue information file correspondent to a voice message, a control section 130 outputs the voice message from a speaker 104.
