OFFSET FIN AND HEAT EXCHANGER HAVING SAME

An offset fin used for a heat exchanger comprises a first wave-shaped structure and a second wave-shaped structure. The first wave-shaped structure has a plurality of first fin portions arranged in a first direction. The second wave-shaped structure has a plurality of second fin portions arranged in the first direction. The second wave-shaped structure is disposed on the first wave-shaped structure in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The first fin portions and the second fin portions each alternately protrude in a third direction perpendicular to the first and second directions and have a convex cross-sectional shape. The second fin portions are placed, in the first direction, at an offset with respect to the first fins. The first fin portions each have a first side wall inclined with respect to the second direction. The second fin portions each have a second side wall inclined with respect to the second direction, but the inclination is opposite to that of the first side wall.
