PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switched reluctance motor (SR motor) capable of suppressing occurrence of an eddy current even when two belt-like conductors are overlapped like a pancake.SOLUTION: An exciting coil 2 in an SR motor M of the present invention includes a first and second coil portions 2a, 2b which are laminated in an axial direction. In the first coil portion 2a, one end 21a of a first conductor 21 is arranged at outermost in a radial direction, and one end 22a of a second conductor 22 is arranged at outermost in a radial direction in the second coil portion 2a. The one end 21a of the first conductor of the first coil portion 2a is electrically connected to the one end 22a of the second conductor 22 of the second coil portion 2a, and one end 22a of the second conductor 22 of the first coil portion 2a is electrically connected to the one end 21a of the first conductor 21 of the second coil portion 2a. Each of the first and second conductors 21, 22 has a thickness of no more than a skin depth corresponding to a drive frequency. |
