<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trivet allowing a buffering member to be easily mounted and dismounted while hardly damaging a top panel, and preventing undesired coming off of the buffering member. <P>SOLUTION: This trivet 4 loaded on a top plate 1 is formed by integrally fixing metallic plate-shaped trivet claws 42 to an approximately circular trivet frame 41, and provided with a seated section 8 seated on the top plate 1 through the buffering member 7. A recessed section 81, formed of an inlet opening 81a and an upper expanding part 81b, is concavely formed upward from a lower end side of the seated section 8. The buffering member 7 includes a fitting section 71 press-fitted to the recessed section 81, a plate-thickness direction restricting section for restricting movement of the buffering member 7 in the plate thickness direction of the trivet claw 42 with the fitting section 71 press-fitted into the recessed section 81, and a top panel contact section 74 kept into contact with the top panel.
