<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gastrostomy sheath having a structure capable of easily and freely achieving different mechanical properties. <P>SOLUTION: The gastrostomy sheath 100 is for assisting insertion of a gastrostomy catheter 50 to be retained within a fistula 63. The gastrostomy sheath 100 includes: a cylindrical sheath body 10; an insertion port 11 for the gastrostomy catheter 50; and a check valve 20 to close the insertion port 11 to be opened unilaterally in the direction of insertion of the gastronomy catheter 50. The check valve 20 has a high rigidity part 25 where the bending rigidity at the center in the lateral direction is higher than the bending rigidity on either side of the center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
