FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: sheet three-layer glass metal composite is fabricated from the sheets of glass placed between metal sheets, the temperature expansion coefficient of which exceeds that of glass. The glass metal composite is formed in a neutral medium with application of high temperature and pressure for glass and metal compounding. The smelt is heated up to the temperature exceeding the glass softening temperature. The glass sheet is heated up to the temperature below the vitrification temperature. The glass metal composite is formed by movement of glass sheet in metal fusion.EFFECT: simplification of method of manufacture of composite without decrease of its strength and shock resistance, decrease of costs of its manufacture.1 dwg
