PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure in which even in a case where many honeycomb structures are arranged, a dead space can be reduced and the many honeycomb structures are arranged with easy work.SOLUTION: In a honeycomb structure 1 including a plurality of cells 11 sectioned by partition walls 10 arranged in a row so as to extend in a single axis direction, contours viewed from two different directions are formed into a circular shape. Also, in the honeycomb structure 1, the area of a first cross section crossing with the central of the honeycomb structure 1 and orthogonal to the axial direction is not identical to the area of a second cross section that has a largest area among any cross section crossing with the central of the honeycomb structure 1 and parallel to the axial direction. |
