FIELD: motor car construction.SUBSTANCE: claimed lock comprises rod element with working head to extend through and/or fit in the bore of one of coupled parts and latch to displace in said bore and to overlap it partially. In compliance with this invention, rod element working head shape and size comply with those of coupled parts bore for the head free accommodation therein at ruled out revolution of the head in said bore. Note here that rod element working head shape can be flattened from or both sides and can feature polyhedral regular or irregular shape. Besides, to rule out a saw cut, this rod element is provided with the tube fitted thereon to run about lengthwise axis. For fastening of claimed lock to vehicle cowl, the vehicle is provided with appropriate fasteners. In compliance with this invention, the cage is fitted on the nut from above to run about its lengthwise axis. Note here that nut and cage outer sides are provided with grooves to be coupled so that a slot is composed to fitting in out of locator key. Skewed chamfers for wrench are made on the cage for ease of attachment at the vehicle engine cowl.EFFECT: higher reliability of locking mechanism.3 cl, 4 dwg |
