Disclosed is a wave generating device which includes a support frame, a rail part which is fixed on the support frame, a water level contact part which vertically moves along the rail part up and down, and a driving unit which is fixed on the support frame and raises or freely drops the water level contact part. The water level contact part includes a wave generating surface which has a density which is larger than the density of water and is formed with a curved shape. Thereby, the wave generating device generates an artificial wave which progresses in one direction with the minimum costs. |
