PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure capable of suppressing deterioration of a conductor by enhancing the cut-off performance furthermore, and to provide a method of manufacturing a connection structure.SOLUTION: A crimp portion 30 is formed into a hollow cross-section cylindrical shape having one sealed end in the longitudinal direction. The opposite side of one end of the crimp portion 30 is crimped to a covered wire 200, and sealed by forming at least one recess 34a for pressing a covering part 202 over the outer periphery of the crimp portion 30. The distance from the boundary of the covering part 202 and the conductor 201 exposed from the covered wire 200 to a recess 34a close to the boundary is equal to or larger than the deformation in a conductor crimp range 30b where the crimp portion 30 crimps the conductor 201.
