A power conversion device (1) is provided with: a power converter (2) that outputs to an output line (5) connected to a single-phase power system (100); and a control device (3) for controlling the power converter (2) so that the power converter (2) operates as a virtual generator. A control device (3) is provided with: a voltage current measurement unit (21) for causing the angular velocity ω and the phase θ of a system voltage to be acquired from a single-phase system voltage Va, which is the voltage of the single-phase power system (100), using an estimation calculation in which the phase of the system voltage is treated as a variable; a power acquisition unit (22) for acquiring effective power (P) and reactive power (Q); a governor model unit (23) for calculating the phase difference Δθ; an AVR model unit (24) for calculating the absolute value (Ef) of the induced voltage of the virtual generator; a generator model unit (25) for calculating a current command value Idq_ref corresponding to the armature current of the virtual generator; and a current controller (26) for generating a PWM signal PWMac and outputting the PWM signal to the power converter (2).
