PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backside protective sheet for solar batteries, which is capable of efficiently reflecting light over a region of wavelengths 400-4000 nm and superior in thermal isolation, and which has a function that allows a solar battery to have an increased energy conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: A double layer type backside protective sheet (Z') for solar batteries comprises: a white easily-adherable coating layer (1) including one of small-particle size white pigment (a) having an average particle size of 0.2 μm or more and less than 0.38 μm, and large-particle size white pigment (b) having an average particle size of 0.38-2 μm, and a binder (c); and a white film (2) including the other of the small-particle size white pigment (a) and the large-particle size white pigment (b).
