PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece feeding device capable of reducing the load of maintenance work and power consumption by minimizing the number of machine elements requiring a motive energy and also capable of reducing the work load of workers by placing a large amount of workpieces in a layered state on a workpiece-feeding mechanism, and to provide a workpiece feeding method using the device.SOLUTION: A workpiece feeding device 10 comprises a feeding part (for example, conveyor 22) feeding the accumulated workpieces by one or several pieces, a drive part (for example, drive motor 24) driving the feeding part, and a workpiece-feeding mechanism 30 which is disposed so as to incline with respect to a horizontal plane and feeds the placed workpieces to the feeding part by the empty weight of the workpiece. |
