PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in dimension stability, light weight, mechanical strength, and abrasion resistance after vulcanization foaming with no need for a post cure process, and to provide a shoe sole.SOLUTION: There are provided a rubber composition for foam containing (A) vinyl cis butadiene rubber having ebullition n-hexane insoluble component of 1 to 25 mass% and ebullition n-hexane soluble component of 99 to 75 mass%, (B) diene rubber other than the (A), (C) a thermoplastic resin, and (D) a thermal expansion foaming agent having particle diameter of 18 to 50 μm and thermal expansion initiation temperature of 115 to 135°C, and a rubber foam for shoe sole produced using the rubber composition, and a shoe sole. |
