The present invention relates to a remote controller which can effectively control an air conditioner in consideration of various surrounding conditions. The remote controller according to the present invention comprises: a first sensor unit for measuring at least one among the temperature and the humidity; a second sensor unit for detecting a user position; a communications unit for communicating with an air conditioner; and a control unit for generating control information to control the air conditioner by using at least one among the detected temperature and the humidity and the detected user position, and controlling the communications unit to transmit the generated control information to the air conditioner. |
