PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a positive charging monolayer photoreceptor structure with improved electric characteristics, and an electrophotographic cartridge and an image forming apparatus giving a sharp image and good reproducibility by using the above photoreceptor.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer on a conductive support body; and the photosensitive layer contains at least one butadiene compound having a structure represented by general formula [1] below. In general formula [1], Arand Arare the same or different from each other, each representing an aryl group having at least one alkyl group or carbonyl group having a substituent constant &sgr;p of 0 or more by a Hammett low; and A and B are the same or different from each other, each representing an organic group having at least one selected from a halogen atom, cyano group, nitro group, sulfonyl group, ester structure and ketone structure. |
