PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retroreflective material representing high reflection luminance even to incident light with a large incident angle and having excellent retroreflective performance to incident light with a wide incident angle.SOLUTION: The retroreflective material includes: a support body; a fixed resin layer held on the support body; transparent microscopic spheres buried in the fixed resin layer; and a reflection layer provided between the transparent microscopic spheres and the fixed resin layer. The retroreflective material employs, as the transparent microscopic spheres, those with a refraction index of 1.6-2.5 and exposes the transparent microscopic spheres to the air so as to have an exposure rate of 53-70%, thereby having excellent retroreflective performance with respect to a wide incident angle. |
