PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that eliminates the necessity of a dedicated sensor for leakage detection and achieves leakage detection of ink or solvents without increasing costs.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device that performs printing by flying ink comprises: liquid containers 201 and 203 for storing ink or solvents; liquid surface detection means 204 for detecting liquid surface level provided in the liquid containers; a control portion; and a display portion. The control portion displays an alarm on the display portion when time during which liquid surface level changes detected by the liquid surface detection means 204 is larger than time during which liquid surface level changes in a set printing condition.
