PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for removing cured ink from a surface, particularly, curved surface.SOLUTION: In a method for removing cured ink from a surface of an object to coat ink 2 in the surface 1 with a detergent 3, the detergent 3 coating the ink 2 in the surface 1 contains substantially no solvent and is water-based, the adhesive side of an adhesive element 4 where the anchorage effect of the ink 2 in the surface 1 is reduced without dissolving the ink 2 to make one side adhesive is pasted on the top of the surface 1, substantially undissolved ink 2 treated with the detergent 3 is fixed on the adhesive element 4 when the adhesive element 4 is to be removed from the surface 1, thereby being removed from the surface 1 together with no splits.
