PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat of an exhaust manifold from being transferred into a cabin via a partition wall of a vehicle even if an engine body is disposed to be proximate to the partition wall.SOLUTION: An exhaust manifold 14 is covered with a heat shield cover 20. The heat shield cover 20 includes an upper surface portion 21, an outer surface portion 22 and a lower surface portion 23, and a rear part 21a of the upper surface portion 21 is tilted backward and the lower surface portion 23 is entirely tilted backward in a side view. An upper connecting portion 29 connecting the upper surface portion 21 to the outer surface portion 22 is gently curved whereas a lower connecting portion 30 connecting the lower surface portion 23 to the outer surface portion 22 is curved into a state of being nearly bent. Travel air in the direction of the lower surface portion 23 is guided downward and travel air in the direction of the upper surface portion 21 is guided downward by the upper connecting portion 29. The travel air heated by the heat shield cover 20 can be guided downward to be promptly discharged to vehicle outside. It it, therefore, possible to reduce heat transferred into a cabin via a partition wall. |
