PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can inhibit a malodor generated in a grease trap even without collecting oil contents of an oil content separation tank for the long term.SOLUTION: Inside a grease trap 1, granules (malodor inhibitors 12) comprising magnesium oxide and/or water magnesium oxide by 60 mass% or more are retained.
