APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SOIL CORE SAMPLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for soil core sampling that allow manual soil core sampling without much labor and reduce the sampling costs.SOLUTION: A sampling tube 2 with at least the bottom end open is inserted into an external tube 3 having open upper and lower ends and is made of a material softened by moisture, and the external tube 3 is inserted into a water bottom ground 9 along with the sampling tube 2. The water bottom ground 9 that serves as a soil core sample 8 enters and fills the sampling tube 2, and the sampling tube 2 is extracted from the external tube 3 along with the soil core sample 8, after at least a part of the external tube 3 has softened by moisture.
