PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel capable of restraining discomfort imparted to an operator, even when executing limiting operation for limiting output of a turning electric motor in the state, when there is the state where an electric driving system of including the turning electric motor is not in a normal operation state.SOLUTION: A shovel comprises a power storage system, a turning electric motor for driving a turning mechanism by electric power supply from the power storage system, a turning operation lever for operating the turning electric motor and a control device for controlling driving of the turning electric motor based on operation input from the turning operation lever, that is, the control device capable of making the turning electric motor execute limiting operation of setting reaction of the turning electric motor weaker than normal operation to the operation input from the turning operation lever, and the control device switches the limiting operation and the normal operation of the turning electric motor with the fact of returning the turning operation lever to a neutral state as a flag. |
