PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide para-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber paper which has excellent heat resistance, thermal dimensional stability, in particular, tensile strength, and the like, and in particular, is suitable as a substrate of a laminate for electric circuits.SOLUTION: There is a paper composed of para-type wholly aromatic polyamide short fiber comprising co-polyparaphenylene-3,4'-oxydiphenylene terephthalamide, and fibrid comprising para-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber or pulp comprising a para-type wholly aromatic polyamide. Relative to a total weight of the paper, a weight ratio of the para-type wholly aromatic polyamide short fiber is 60 to 97 wt%, and a weight ratio of the fibrid or pulp comprising the wholly aromatic polyamide fiber is 3 to 40 wt%. A value obtained by dividing a sum of strength of the paper in one direction and strength in a direction perpendicular to the one direction by two times the basis weight of the paper is 0.4 or more. |
