FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to containers intended for temporary storage and transportation of, for example, "fresh" fuel rod arrays (FRA) from manufacturer to consumer at nuclear power stations, particularly, for transportation of two FRA-QUADRATE for PWR reactor. Proposed device comprises tightening cover articulated with container elements on one side and provided with lock assembly on opposite side to turn about hinge lengthwise axis. Note here that said cover consists of outer and inner parts arranged with clearance and articulated to displace in horizontal transverse direction of inner part relative to outer part to their contact. Note also that said device comprises extra cover inner part vertical position adjusting assembly for tightening of carried elements of different size in cross-section. Said adjusting assembly is composed by threaded coupling between said inner and outer parts of said cover to vary the clearance between said parts.EFFECT: reliable locking.2 dwg
