PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver IC that is optimum for absorption of a difference in a characteristic of an external charge pump IC.SOLUTION: A driver IC comprises: a power source pad that receives a power voltage from an external charge pump IC having a charge pump circuit integrated; a drive circuit that drives a display panel using the power voltage; a clock generation circuit unit that generates a control clock signal; a clock output pad that outputs the control clock signal to the external charge pump IC; and a control circuit unit that is responsive to a voltage level of the power voltage to adjust a frequency of the control clock signal.
