The invention provides a short message sending method and system. The short message sending method comprises the steps that S1, a transit server is set, wherein the transit server comprises a first server and a second server; S2, the first server invokes short message contents to be sent in all application systems according to a preset rule, wherein the short message contents carry receiving end IDs; S3, the first server sequentially stores the invoked short message contents in message queues according to an invoking time sequence; S4, the second server sequentially processes the short message contents stored in the message queues. The traditional transit server is split into two servers, namely the first server and the second server, the first server and the second server transmit data in a message queue mode, accordingly a function of concurrently processing multiple short messages of the transit server is improved, and the short message processing efficiency of the transit server is effectively improved. |
