<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding device which enables positioning and moving by moving a can body in an axial direction and a circumferential direction with a simple structure, a method of molding an object, and a method of manufacturing a can drum.SOLUTION: A molding device 1 is equipped with a holder 11 for holding an object 100; a shaft body 82 which has a first groove portion 82a formed in a spiral shape on an outer peripheral surface and a second groove portion 82b formed along an axis, and connected to the holder 11; a ball screw spline 71 equipped with a ball screw 83 engaged with the first groove portion 82a and advancing straight the shaft body 82, and a ball spline 84 engaged with the second groove portion 82b and advancing straight and rotating the shaft body 82; a driving mechanism 72 for driving the ball screw spline 71; a mold device 4 for molding an object 100 held by the holder 11; and a control portion 6 which drives the driving mechanism 72 to advance straight and rotate the shaft body 82, and moves the object 100 held by the holder 11 to a predetermined position of the mold device 4.</p> |
