The present invention relates to the use of a tacky mat made from a tacky elastomeric polymer composition for releasably securing a portable roll dispenser to a surface and a portable roll dispenser on which a tacky mat is arranged, preferably on the bottom of the dispenser, wherein the mat is made from a tacky elastomeric polymer composition.
