PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-tuft brush which has softer bristle by configuring filaments with a small diameter, and which can drastically reduce harmfulness during brushing by applying tip-rounding working to a tip part of the filament, and a method of manufacturing the single-tuft brush.SOLUTION: In a single-tuft brush 1, one bristle bundle 6 formed by bundling a plurality of filaments 6a together is implanted in one bristle implantation hole 9 provided at a tip part of a handle part 2. A diameter of the filament 6a is set to be in the range of 0.076-0.15 mm. The bristle bundle 6 is implanted and fixed in the bristle implantation hole 9 and a tip part thereof is cut into a conical shape. A tip-rounded shape part formed by being subjected to tip-rounding working by polishing of the conical surface is provided at a tip part of each filament 6a. |
