<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal speaker that efficiently transmits kinetic energy, which has been converted from electrical energy of an audio signal, to one or more diaphragms and emits higher-volume and sharper sound that can be heard by both healthy and hearing-impaired people without any problem.SOLUTION: A universal speaker 10 comprises at least a diaphragm 1 having a planar shape, a driver unit 2 for causing the diaphragm to vibrate in accordance with an inputted electrical signal, and an enclosure 3 with a hollow structure for accommodating the diaphragm and the driver unit. The enclosure has an opening 39 in one surface, and the driver unit abuts on an end edge of the diaphragm so as to drive in the same direction as the plane direction of the diaphragm and is also fixedly mounted on the enclosure. The diaphragm forms a curved section that curves from one end 1a side, on which the driver unit is mounted, toward opposing another end 1b side, and is disposed to cover the opening of the enclosure.</p> |
